These guys tracked me down through another family and I couldn’t have had more fun! These two little boys had big glasses and fedora that matched their big personalities. Mom and Dad are brave folks….you may notice they also have a third little person on the way. Seeing these two boys, I know their next tiny person is going to be just breathtaking!
To be completely honest…I wasn’t going to do these this holiday season simply because I am going to be traveling for work a bit over the next month. You guys can thank Charli for this. She is going to be handling scheduling and such while I wrap up a few projects. SO…thanks to her initiative…it looks like this: Shoots are 30 minutes. We snap some pictures at a sweet location. You guys should know my little sister by now and we are so excited for her upcoming wedding. Though we are not doing the heavy lifting on the wedding day we did snap a few pictures for Save the Date announcements. Enjoy!
These guys have been friends of ours for years. When Kitty isn’t dressed like a gorgeous starlet you can find her working on trucks. Rick…well, you can just find him always working on trucks!
My sister asked if I could possibly shoot some senior pictures for her to include in her college graduation announcements. So I did.
What she didn’t know was that her boyfriend was also proposing! Surprise! Best graduation gift EVER!
You guys may remember Jenny, a friend and sorority sister, from some pictures we did of her sweet little girl. Jenny is beginning a job teaching now that sweet Elena is getting bigger and guess what she’ll be teaching?!? Drama! So fun! In light of her new adventure she wanted to update her headshots so her new students would have an example to look to. (That and she’s looking into a little work in acting!)
These two ladies always steal my heart. Their 13th birthday celebration was no exception. It was a Through the Looking Glass themed pool party. As always this Mom thinks of everything…from the book itself to sweet beverages labeled “drink me.” Happy Birthday ladies! You deserve the best of everything!
This Mom was a sorority sister of mine from college (sidenote: I heart DG!) and last year she won a contest to have a free shoot. Being a savvy Mommy-to-be she hung onto it until this sweet little bundle arrived. Meet Elena! She is one month old and so stinkin cute! Besides Mom being amazing enough to do the cloth diaper thing…she also painted an huge, awesome mural of Dr. Seuss in the nursery. If that isn’t enough to blow your mind, this will. Elena’s Dad loves Burt Reynolds. That is totally irrelevant, but I had to find some way to work that information into this blog post! Back on topic…my favorite thing was her sweet little coos that we would hear on occasion. I do miss that age…and no…I don’t miss it that much 😉 Without further ado. Sweet Elena!
I have loved this family for years. They are silly, crazy, and (at times) a little out of control! I like to think of them as very similar to my family 🙂

Wow, folks…can you believe summer is almost over?!? We have been incredibly blessed with wonderful clients this summer and we can’t wait to see what fall brings!
Now for the real reason behind this post! One of my favorite pictures from the summer was unexpected and fits perfectly in the i heart faces contest for the week…so enter, we shall! Everyone, meet Daisy! This is my little sister’s pup and she is so sweet you can’t help but scratch her ears…and take her picture 🙂
